Heddle Hardware was established on October 1, 1999, by founding member Stanley Rowland. The store initially resided at 120 Short Market Street in the Bo - kaap in Capetown. We began as a small building merchant, supplying construction materials to the extensive surrounding areas, from Llandudno to Franschhoek. After over a decade at this location, the store required larger premises, leading us to relocate to 76 Harrington Street in the heart of the Mother City. In 2018, the business expanded further with the opening of a larger branch at 286 Vootreeker Road, Maitland, managed by Edward Rowland, who also became a member of Heddle Hardware.
